We are 90% funded but we need your help…

 

We are not from Colorado, but we did find our name there. Bears Of Manitou. 

It was many years ago that I vacationed in Colorado Springs and had the opportunity to visit the little town of Manitou. There were a lot of reasons that this trip was important to me, but formost, the bears.

I was told about the bears of Manitou, CO, but I never saw them. 

I figure, I just didn’t stay there long enough, because you couldn’t enter the place without noticing the black bear theme.

Then it hit me… this is how life works. The people we meet, the time we spend. It takes years to truly know a person. 

All that to say this place is very dear to us. We are worried for our friends, and can only hope that the loss is minimal at this point. There is a fire raging in Colorado, in the heart of Colorado Springs.

We are still just under halfway from our goal for our Kickstarter. We know we will reach it and want to put this out there…

Any surplus money raised for our Kickstarter will be donated to helping the residents affected by this wildfire in recovering whatever losses they received.

We have until July 11th to make our goal. We aren’t worried about that, but we hope to punch through it to help our fellow Bears at heart through this hard time.
